The red flower(hong hua) is prized for its decorative and culinary usefulness, and is believed to invigorate blood flow. Chinese black tea is flavored with oil of bergamot, then blended with red flowers(hong hua). The smooth, deep brew is perfect by itself and also goes well with milk.
To prepare: Pour boiling water over tea leaves; use 2 rounded teaspoons for up to 16 ounces of water. Infuse for 3 minutes.
